FEATURED  STOCK UPDATE

Recently Featured Stock Updates

The stocks below have been featured in past issues of CANSLIM.net News, CANSLIM.net Stock Alerts Reports, or CANSLIM.net Stock Bulletins. Our experts monitor these stocks and post updates on noteworthy action here.
Sustainable BreakOuts Will Easily Meet Volume Guidelines
CA
CI International Inc (CAI -$1.16 or -1.88% to $60.61) was featured in the December, 2004 issue of CANSLIM.net News and it was last included in this "Featured Stock Update" section on December 6th in the CANSLIM.net After-Market Update as we pointed out that on that session it had traded above its pivot point identified in the original report but "volume did not stay heavy throughout the afternoon, and at day's end it was only 37%+ above average, shy of the 50%+ minimum guideline for a proper buy candidate.  Without serious institutional buying demand, the lighter volume breakout today leaves investors a reason to question how sustainable the advance may be.  Watch for better confirmation in the action over the coming days." Instead of getting that confirmation, CAI stalled and was pressured lower in the midst of the early '05 market declines. It is now in danger of a more serious meltdown, and only a prompt rebound above its 50-day moving average line would improve its near-term outlook. For those who are existing shareholders, any further deterioration should probably not be tolerated.
